Pixel Paint ($3.99) Make your own sprite-based creations with this pixel-focused paint application. Get it? That's like why it's called Falling Skies. Falling Skies ($39.99) Based on the TV show of the same name, Falling Skies is a tactical action game where you have control a squad of fighters who a trying to fend off the aliens that are falling from the skies. The trick is you need to learn the songs like a rhythm game to ace this shooter. It's super challenging, in part because of the pure difficulty and the intense, bass-thumping music. Cosmophony ($3.99) From Moving Player comes a shoot-'em-up with a musical slant. Only the second game from acclaimed developers Double Fine to make it to a Nintendo system, Costume Quest 2 looks like it's a ton of whimsical fun. You control kids wearing costumes that give them different abilities and powers. Play Costume Quest 2 ($14.99) Just in time for Halloween, Costume Quest 2 is a Super Mario RPG-like RPG.
